This is the home page of the Information Select Committee's online consultation, being run in collaboration with the Hansard Society.
Online consultations attempt to use the internet to allow people to give their views on a specific subject to parliamentarians. It was one of a series of pilot online parliamentary consultations being run by the Hansard Society
The objective of this consultation was to discuss parliamentary IT resources and ways of using it to make parliamentary democracy more efficient and accessible to the public. The discussion ran through May and early June 2000.
